| | 1300 Block of Hardy Rd | | Sat. Dec 27th 2008 | Fire broke out around 10:30 tonight in the 1300 Block of Hardy Rd. in Vinton. The career medic unit from Vinton and several volunteer units responded to the fire. The Fire Marshals Office has declared the fire to be arson.

| | 7200 Block of Longleaf Dr | | Tue. Dec 23rd 2008 | Crews from 5, 10, 2, and several city units responded to a structure fire on the 7200 Block of Longleaf Dr. around 3 pm today. No firefighters were hurt the cause of the fire is still under investigation.
